Didn’t even realise you started reacting to this series until I saw notification for episode two’s reaction. Was like “finally, a series you’re reacting to that I’m watching”. I do plan on watching more series this season, I just haven’t been bothered starting them yet kek.

The part with the cable bothered me too but after thinking about it I think it’s fine. Since there is no gravity, you can’t really control where the cable goes. It would have to be a perfect trajectory to reach Kanata since he didn’t have any way to move to catch it. I assumed they couldn’t use it to get back because it already drifted too far away or they reeled it back in.

At least with a line of people they have their muscles and thrusters to adjust.
