About the walls: like other comments already said: only one wall was breached. Though that is still a huge terretory lost, because there is about 100km between the first and second wall.

About the timeline: while I don’t remember for sure how many years, there was not an 8 years timeskip. I think at the beginning of Episode 3 its between 2-3 years(not sure) after the first Wall was breached.

Oh no you forgot the key. The key was established in Episode 1 but don’t worry you don’t have to go back, the show explains what the key is again in another Episode so I won’t repeat it here

I don’t know if I should say this or let you watch ss3 and understand but in Japan the anime is actually just called Attack Titan.

The first 3 episodes I consider them as “The Happy Episdodes”.

You’ve made great questions. You will find an answer to them since the author has put a lot of effort building this world. The show will only explain what’s necessary. Sixty percent of the logic behind this wolrd you will have to find the answers yourself as thew show continues to drop pieces of information. It always takes at least a re-watch to understand it. You should write down your questions in a notebook

Seems you have a misconception about how the wall has been breached.
Context : Humanity hide behind 3 circular & concentric walls.
Outside each cardinal points of the 2 outer walls are cities that are also protected by extensions of the wall. (The walls have 2 layers where the cities are, surrounding them)

The wall that’s been broken by the giant Titan in the 1st episode is that extension of the city, separating the city from the outside). At that point, titan could only invade the city, but didn’t had acces to all the area between the 2nd and the 3rd wall.
The wall that’s been broken by the sprinting titan in the 2nd episode is the interior wall of the city, separating the city and the area between 2nd & 3rd wall. A huge chunk of human territory has been to titans at this precise moment.

So ! While there has been 2 wall breakings, effectively, there’s only ONE true wall that has been breached.

You might have gotten a little confused on the wall there. From in to out we have Sina, Rose, Maria and the protruding districts, outside of the walls. Shiganshina is one of these protruding districts. What was destroyed by the big titan in EP 1, was the wall surrounding shiganshina. İt is not one of the main 3 walls, forcing people to go inside of wall Maria. The gate that the guards were closing linked shiganshina and the inside of wall Maria. Then the titan this episode destroyed that gate thus making an opening in wall Maria, so people ar forced to go inside wall Rose as Shiganshina and the whole inside of wall Maria is now overrun by titans. So only 1 main wall was destroyed.

Someone needs yo explain to this guy about the walls because he thinks the titans destroyed the entire wall
