Its a neat show, I only have a couple of major critiques that I couldnt look past too far.

Number 1 is the inconsistant animation. Bee’s physical body changes from frame to frame constantly, (Especially in the beach episode) sometimes she looks chubby sometimes she looks thinner, sometimes she has no waist or abdomen other times she has all proportions. I like the design of the characters but get distracted when they change forms due to lack of animation consistency.

Number 2 is how they dont really seperate the surrealistic parts from the structured parts. What I mean is, the show usually follows Bee and Puppycat going on with their day or socialising with their friends then find a reason to enter a mission into the part of the show where things dont really have to make sense. This would be a cool concept if they would try to reinstate reality when they are in their own world. The way characters behave and the metaphors and euphemisms in the regular world are sometimes just as non sensical as the mission worlds. This makes it sortof hard to grow with the characters since they never really get a break from being in a fever dream.

Here are some praises:

The voice acting is really well done, I appreciate the “real” voice style in animation as most western animation tends to go for overexaggerating since thats been a animation fundamental for ever, but realistic voice acting goes a long way on its own regard.

The visuals did a good job and drawing you in without context.

Puppycat’s entire design, the voice, the eyebrows, the mannerisms, basically imo is what sold the show.

i am so glad i found this, cartoons are still my favourite things to watch 🙂

I love how its almost like they gave the voice actors a plot and were like: A D L I B I T
and thats what they did lol. its so homey and comfortable

But the whole robot thing… That was foreshadowed sooo well
I was like “omg how dare you do such a great job”

Home star runner??

I really like how this show really validates figuring out what you get it and even validates not knowing what you’re good at just yet. “Eating is good”. It’s like a really simple but like— I don’t know it makes me feel good as an adult. I new to it and sometimes I feel like I need to catch up with everyone so this is really neat

I absolutely love this. A mix of comedy, aesthetically pleasing and comfort. I wish I found this sooner!
